Our graduates can continue to pursue doctoral degrees. We especially encourage students to take a doctoral degree in the EU member countries through the EU Erasmus Mundus program or join a Ph.D. program at the sister university.

➤ WORK:

Our graduates can contribute to diplomacy, government agencies, academic research institutions, public and private foreign trade institutions, news organizations, and mass media. Specifically, our graduates can have the following options:

1. To further study and pursue the Ph.D. in related fields in European academic fields.
2. To work in the government or diplomatic agencies.
3. To engage in the work of European culture and art industries.
4. To engage in work of European institutions in Taiwan.
5. To engage in European international business or trade.
6. To engage in European sightseeing, catering, and tourism.
7. To engage in transnational cultural undertakings, exchange foundations, and international political, economic, social and cultural related work.

Wenzao has comprehensive career guidance to assist our students in preparing for employment through career counseling, career lectures, corporate internships, employment counseling and other services, and to cultivate the employability required for the company. The career guidance services are as follows:

➤ Career Guidance and Counseling

1. We provide students with career guidance and counseling.
2. We encourage students to use "The University Career Alumni Network (UCAN) " to more understand their career direction, and be more motivated to strengthen the job-related functions.
3. We cooperate with the Wenzao Career Development Center to plan career lectures and workshops for our students, and provide a variety of career information.

➤ Achieve the balance between Theory and Practice

The required courses of GIES cultivate the professionals of European studies and affair and also educate the student to have abilities of integration, analyzation, critique, and creativity. In the elective courses, GIES not only focuses on the theoretical side but also on the practical side. GIES also provide students with an internship course, so that students can prepare for a career in advance.

Through the "Wenzao104 employment platform" can help students to finds appropriate jobs. In addition, we also arrange a job interview and increase the job opportunities for our students.
