文藻外語大學歐洲研究所舉辦圓桌論壇,評析2024歐洲議會大選結果,以及選後世界情勢的變化。此次論壇邀請多名專家學者與會,討論議題聚焦歐洲議會選後全球地緣政治、國家安全及經濟影響,突顯全球政治相互關聯性。
與會專家學者為歐洲價值安全政策中心在台辦事處主任葉皓勤(Marcin Mateusz Jerzewski)、銘傳大學國際事務碩士研究所副教授森亞博(Yavor Kostadinov)、文藻外語大學國際事務系講座教授傅庸(Philipp Fluri)、文藻外語大學歐洲研究所副教授羅文笙(Vincent Rollet),論壇主持人由文藻外大歐洲研究所副教授暨所長華明儀(Armin Ibitz)擔任。
此次圓桌論壇深入探索歐洲議會選舉結果後的關鍵事件,聚焦在地緣政治影響及歐盟與台灣關係、歐盟安全和國防議題以及經濟和貿易影響等三項主要領域進行探討。專家們檢驗選舉後歐盟與台灣關係的潛在轉變,思量歐洲新的政治格局,以及後續在外交和經濟合作方面的影響。
講者進一步討論選舉結果對歐盟安全和國防政策的影響,其中包括面對現今不穩定的全球安全威脅,對地區穩定和歐盟戰略自主權帶來的隱憂,以及選後帶來的經濟影響,尤其關注於歐盟的貿易政策及未來的經濟前景。現場出席的文藻外大師生,針對歐洲議會大選結果提出諸多詢問,獲得與會專家學者提供深入的見解與澄清。
Wenzao Ursuline University Hosts Roundtable Discussion on 2024 EU Parliament Elections Outcome

Wenzao Ursuline University’s Graduate Institute of European Studies proudly hosted a high-level roundtable discussion to analyze the outcome of the recent 2024 European Parliament elections and its implications. The event gathered esteemed experts and scholars to deliberate on the geopolitical, security, and economic implications of the elections.
The participants included Yavor Kostadinov, Assistant Professor at Mingchuan University; Marcin Jerzewski, Head of the Taiwan Office of the European Values Center for Security Policy; Philipp Fluri, Visiting Professor in the Department of International Affairs at Wenzao University; and Vincent Rollet, Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of European Studies, Wenzao University. The event was moderated and hosted by Armin Ibitz, Chair of the Graduate Institute of European Studies at Wenzao University.
The discussion delved into critical issues surrounding the election outcome, focusing on three primary areas. First, the geopolitical implications and EU-Taiwan relations were examined, with experts considering the potential shifts in EU-Taiwan relations post-election, taking into account the new political landscape in Europe and its impact on diplomatic and economic ties.
Second, the panel explored EU security and defense issues, addressing concerns about regional stability and the EU's strategic autonomy in the context of evolving global threats.
Lastly, the conversation covered the economic and trade implications of the election, with particular attention to trade policies and the broader economic outlook for the EU.
The roundtable highlighted the interconnectedness of global political dynamics and the significance of informed discourse on these pivotal issues. The experts readily addressed numerous questions from the audience, providing deeper insights and clarifications on the topics discussed.
