Fieldtrip to Taipei: Meeting with European representatives in Taiwan

Within the framework of GIES class on EU’s Foreign Policy, Master students and Prof. Vincent Rollet had the privilege to meet with diplomats at the European Economic and Trade Office (EETO) and at the Belgium Office in Taipei to discuss EU-Taiwan relations in many fields including trade, security, education, environment, legal and consular issues, public health and research. The discussion was very constructive and helped the Master students to better appreciate the role of the EU and its EU Member States in Taiwan.

歐洲研究所【歐盟對外關係專題】課程內容探討歐盟外交政策，因此歐洲研究所羅文笙教授(Vincent Rollet)及研究生有幸得以與歐洲經濟貿易辦事處（EETO）和台北比利時辦事處的外交官會面，討論了包括貿易、安全、教育、環境、法律和領事事務、公共衛生和研究在內的多個領域的歐盟-台灣關係。討論非常具有建設性，幫助碩士生更好地理解歐盟及其成員國在台灣的角色。
