Student Internship at EU-Taiwan Center

A European Winter Break in Taipei!!... Doing an Internship at EU-Taiwan Center (EUTW).

During this winter break, Joy Chang, Master student at the Graduate Institute of European Studies, spent several weeks in doing an Internship at EUTW Center (National Taiwan University, NTU), Taipei. Founded on May 22, 2009 by mandate of the European Commission, EUTW is one of the 27 centres worldwide that EU has established since 1998 in prestigious universities in developed countries. Being a platform for exchanges and cooperation for the study of the EU and EU policies in Taiwan, the EUTW Center promotes advanced research of the EU and the EU policies, facilitates the academia and civil society interaction between EU and Taiwan for mutual understanding, advances the comprehension of EU policies to Taiwanese population, and participates actively in global and EU Asia interconnected systems.

By doing an internship at the EUTW Center, Joy Chang had then the opportunity to contribute to many EU-related academic and cultural activities organized by this center in Taiwan, and also to participate in several Europe-related activities organized in Taipei by different institutions such as EU Member States’ representative offices, universities, associations, etc…
